74.5 percent of the funds flow into child sponsorships and projects. The administrative expenses of Emmaus Children's Relief average only 25.5 percent and include the costs for human resources, administration and fundraising.

IDEAS Aidrating-certified

Emmaus Children's Relief has been IDEAS Aidrating-certified since 2016. The independent association IDEAS has audited the finances of Emmaus Children's Relief and confirmed that it handles donations conscientiously and provides transparent information to the public. The IDEAS Aidrating Transparency Seal recognizes trustworthy aid organizations.

The following debit and credit cards are offered:

  • Visa and Mastercard credit cards

  • PostFinance Card and PostFinance e-finance

  • Payment methods supported by the PayPal escrow service

Please have the required card information ready: card number (ID number), expiry date, verification number (CVV) and 3-D Secure password. After two transaction errors (payment error), all further payment attempts to Emmaus Children's Relief will be blocked by your payment service provider for at least 24 hours. This is to prevent misuse.

Data protection

We only use your personal data for internal administrative purposes. Your address will not be passed on to third parties. The data in our database is protected and we strictly observe all legal data protection requirements.

Friends for life

The personal sponsorships of Emmaus Children's Relief (CHF 50 per child per month) enable destitute girls and boys in the Third World to go to school and learn a trade. Nutrition, education and training are aimed at the comprehensive development of the children. This enables them to master their future lives independently.

Steps out of misery

If you do not wish to personally sponsor a child, but would like to support our projects on a regular basis, there is the project sponsorship. You determine your periodic donation, the method of payment and the payment method. We use your contributions for development projects.
